Course Description
What's in Fireworks: Basic + CBT:
This ILT series course teaches students the fundamentals of using Fireworks MX to design high-quality images for the Web. It introduces students to bitmap and vector graphics, file formats, and how to create and save documents. Students will use the Fireworks tools to magnify images, select objects, draw paths, crop images, customize strokes, and fill objects. Students will draw bitmap images, import and retouch bitmap images, apply and create colors, and add and modify text to the images. Finally, students define optimization settings and export the images to JPEG and GIF formats. The manual (student CD included) is designed for quick scanning in the classroom and filled with interactive exercises that help ensure student success. Comes with a companion CBT program.

What's in Fireworks MX: Advanced + CBT:
This ILT series course builds on the fundamentals taught in Fireworks MX: Basic. In this advanced course, students learn how to develop interactive images and animations for the Web. Students will work with layers, apply and edit effects, apply filters, apply and create styles, and create mask images. To create interactive images, students will create hotspots, slices, rollover buttons, and pop-up menus. Course activities also cover the Find and Replace panel, symbols, the History panel, commands, and batch processing. Students also use frames and frame controls to create animations. The manual is designed for quick scanning in the classroom and filled with interactive exercises that help ensure student success. Comes with a companion CBT program.
